Overview
A 36-inch insert range hood with 900 CFM suction, operable by voice command, hand gesture, or touchscreen, convertible between ducted and ductless installation.
The hood pulls smoke and odors through a top 6-inch duct outlet, or runs ductless with an optional carbon filter for kitchens without venting. Memory mode saves a preferred fan speed and light setting between uses.
- 900 CFM suction, up to 95% smoke exhaust efficiency
- Voice, gesture, and touch control options
- Ducted or ductless convertible installation
- Memory mode for fan speed and lighting
Who it's for
Kitchen renovators wanting a 36-inch insert with smart controls and strong suction, in either ducted or ductless setups. Less suited to buyers who want a fully silent hood, since fan noise scales with the 900 CFM output.
Pros and cons
- 900 CFM clears smoke and steam quickly
- Voice, gesture, and touch controls all work reliably
- Dishwasher-safe stainless steel filters
- Straightforward install on a standard plug
- Fan noise is average for the suction level, not whisper-quiet
- Gesture control needs the hand close to the sensor
- Voice assistant talks back when activated, which some may find chatty
Performance notes
Gesture control requires the hand to be close to the sensor, so a moving paper towel works for people who can't reach comfortably. Voice control responds to a wake phrase and confirms activation audibly, which one reviewer found chatty but functional.
