Overview
The Milwaukee 3697-27 is an 18 volt cordless tool built on Milwaukee's M18 battery platform, drawing 5 amps and weighing 13.73 pounds as listed. That weight points to a kit with multiple pieces rather than one bare tool.
Milwaukee's M18 line is one of the largest cordless battery platforms on the market, so a tool in this family shares batteries and chargers with dozens of other M18 tools. The listing's category label is generic and the exact tool type inside this kit isn't spelled out beyond the electrical specs and weight, so buyers standardizing on M18 get the platform benefit even without a confirmed tool breakdown.
- 18V M18 battery platform
- 5 amp motor draw
- 13.73 lb kit weight
- Milwaukee brand tool
Who it's for
Tradespeople and serious DIYers already running Milwaukee's M18 battery system who want another tool that shares those batteries. Not the right pick for someone starting a cordless kit from zero on a different platform.
Pros and cons

- Kit weight suggests multiple included pieces
- Exact tool function not confirmed by listing
- 13.73 lb kit weight is on the heavier side
Performance notes
