Overview

Rolling on three light-up wheels, the Gotrax KS1 gives young children a stable kick scooter with a wide non slip deck. Riders push off with one foot and slow down with the rear brake, and the handlebar adjusts in height as the child grows.

Three wheels and a lightweight aluminum frame make the KS1 easy for a small child to balance and for a parent to carry. The ride is rigid with no suspension, so rough sidewalks come through to the hands. Handlebar height figures are missing, which makes sizing for a tall child a guess.

Who it's for

Preschoolers and early grade school kids learning to scoot on driveways and park paths. Children past the upper age limit, or riders on rough pavement who want a softer ride, should look at a larger scooter.
