Overview
Not an electric grinder, the NewlukPro M6 is a hand-cranked conical burr mill in an aluminum body small enough for a travel bag. Turning the handle draws beans through the burrs, and an adjustment sets the grind from fine espresso to coarse French press.
A wide range of grind steps lets one grinder cover espresso, moka, pour over and French press, and the metal body packs easily for camping or office use. The hopper holds a small dose, so brewing for several people means refilling and cranking again.
Who it's for
Travelers, campers and desk brewers who want fresh grounds without a plug get a grinder that adjusts across brew styles. Anyone grinding for a full pot each day will tire of refilling and cranking.
Pros and cons
- Wide grind range for many brew methods
- Conical burr design
- All-metal aluminum body
- Compact enough for travel bags
- Burr material not listed
- Small capacity for multiple cups
- Hand cranking takes time and effort
- Warranty limited to one year
Performance notes
Grind consistency comes from the conical burr set and how steadily the shaft turns. The adjustment changes the gap between the burrs, and finer settings take more turns to push beans through. The small hopper limits each session to a single dose.
