Urby Extra Wide Plus Size Scale 660 lb

Overview

The Urby SCALE-Plus is a digital bathroom scale with an LCD display, a stainless steel platform and a 660 pound weight capacity, listed here under a supplements category that doesn't reflect what the product is. It measures body weight in pounds and is finished in silver.

This is another listing where the category label doesn't match the product itself. Title and specs both point to a bodyweight scale rather than anything supplement related, so the category tree should be disregarded. The listed accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 percent is a manufacturer spec rather than an independently confirmed figure.

• 660 lb capacity
• Stainless steel build
• LCD display
• Reads in pounds

Who it's for

Works for households that want a simple pounds only bodyweight scale with a high weight capacity and a stainless steel build. Not suited to anyone who wants body composition metrics like body fat or muscle mass, since this model tracks weight only based on the listed specs.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

A 660 pound capacity is notably higher than most consumer bathroom scales, which typically top out around 400 pounds, making this a relevant option for anyone who has been let down by a standard scale's weight limit. The stainless steel platform is also a sturdier build than the tempered glass used on many budget scales.
