Overview
A push button on the back springs this Optimus Prime from T-Rex to robot, then it folds back in one step. The same button area triggers chomping with lights and sounds, and a rescue drill spins in either mode.
One button conversion removes the frustration of fiddly transforming for small kids. Battery details are missing, which matters for a lights and sounds toy.
Who it's for
Young kids who want transforming play without complicated steps suit this figure. Older fans who enjoy multi step conversions should look at standard Transformers lines.
Pros and cons
- Button conversion for small hands
- Lights and sounds
- Spinning rescue drill
- Two play modes
- Battery details not listed
- Other Dinobots sold separately
Performance notes
A spring loaded mechanism handles the conversion, so kids press rather than twist parts. Lights and sounds depend on battery power not described here. Fewer moving parts make it sturdier for preschool play.
