Overview
The Simyke BME28-1 is a wireless baby monitor with a 720p camera, night vision and battery power, weighing about 0.47 kilograms (just over 1 pound).
720p resolution is a step up from the lower resolution cameras common on budget monitors, which should help with clarity when checking on a sleeping child from another room. Being battery powered adds flexibility for placement without a nearby outlet, though the listing does not state battery life or charging method.
- 720p video resolution
- Night vision enabled
- Wireless connectivity
- Battery powered, about 0.47 kg
Who it's for
Parents wanting a wireless camera monitor with night vision for a nursery, especially in rooms without a convenient power outlet near the crib. Not detailed enough here for buyers who need specifics on range, two-way audio or app connectivity before purchasing.
Pros and cons
- 720p resolution camera
- Night vision included
- Wireless and battery powered for flexible placement
- Battery life not specified in the listing
- Range and two-way audio features not detailed
Performance notes
Night vision on a 720p sensor should give a reasonably clear picture in a dark room, which is the main job of a nursery monitor. Wireless, battery powered operation means placement is not limited by outlet location, but without a stated battery life figure buyers cannot judge how often it needs charging.
