Overview
A 78 piece baby shower game kit built around unfinished wooden blocks: one wooden sign, one wooden box, 52 small blocks, 24 acrylic paint pens, and a thank you sticker. Guests use the pens to write or decorate the blocks, following the included sign for game instructions.
This is a craft and game hybrid rather than a printed card game, since the block and pen combination produces a physical keepsake, not just a filled in sheet. The wooden pieces are described as sanded smooth on the surface and edges, which matters for a kit meant to be handled by children as well as adults.
- 78 piece kit: sign, box, 52 blocks, 24 paint pens
- Sanded wooden blocks free of burrs
- Blocks measure about 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm
- Includes a thank you sticker
Who it's for
Suited to hosts who want a hands on, crafting style baby shower activity rather than a quick card based game, and who are fine supplying a table for guests to write and decorate. Less suited to a shower with limited setup time or table space, since assembling and displaying the blocks takes more room than a card game does.
Pros and cons
- 78 pieces cover blocks, pens, sign, and box in one kit
- 24 pens mean multiple guests can decorate at the same time
- Sanded, burr free wood surfaces for repeated handling
- Requires table space and setup time, more involved than a printed card game
- Acrylic pens have plastic casings that add to cleanup after use
Performance notes
The kit supplies 52 small wooden blocks and 24 acrylic paint pens, enough for a full table of guests to each decorate multiple blocks during the shower. The wooden sign and box give the game its display and storage piece, and the surfaces and edges are described as polished to avoid burrs, which is the detail that keeps a wood craft kit safe for repeated handling.
