Who it's for
Anglers needing a larger spinning reel for bigger freshwater species or light inshore saltwater, where a size 30 frame and anti-reverse matter for the target fish.
Pros and cons
- Anti-reverse for direct hooksets
- Size 30 frame suited to larger species
- No gear ratio listed
- No line capacity or drag weight specified
Performance notes
Anti-reverse locks the handle against backplay so a strike transfers directly into the hookset instead of losing motion in the reel, and the aluminum body and rotor add stiffness to the size 30 frame at just over half a pound.
