Overview
A drone kit bag, a film crew case or a long trip with no laptop is where these SanDisk cards fit, each holding hours of high resolution flying. The bundled reader moves footage to a computer once you are back at a desk.
Large cards mean fewer swaps and room for a full day of flights per card. With five cards and one reader, offloading has to happen one card at a time.
Who it's for
Pilots on long trips and teams running several drones get high capacity cards for each aircraft. Owners of cameras that take full-size SD cards would need adapters, which are not listed.
Pros and cons
- Large capacity per card
- Five cards for several drones
- Fast read for quick offloads
- Rated for 4K recording
- Only one reader for five cards
- No SD adapter listed
- Write speed not listed
- Reader is a third party brand
Performance notes
Smooth video recording rests on the minimum write speed class, while the higher read speed shortens transfers through the reader. App performance class helps when cards run apps or thumbnails on phones and tablets.
