Overview
The SEDY 81109 is a wrench measuring 10 inches long and weighing about 0.97 kilograms, or roughly 2.1 pounds. That weight is on the heavier side for a single 10 inch hand wrench, which may point to a substantial build or a multi-piece set sold under one listing.
SEDY's catalog leans toward adjustable and pipe wrenches sold individually or in small sets, and the weight-to-length ratio here fits that heavier end of the category rather than a light combination wrench.
- Brand: SEDY, model 81109
- Length: 10 inches
- Weight: about 0.97 kg (2.1 lb)
Who it's for
Suits buyers who want a solid, substantial 10 inch wrench for shop or plumbing-style tasks. Less suited to anyone wanting the lightest possible wrench for a tool bag, given the roughly 2 pound weight at this length.
Pros and cons
- Substantial build for its 10 inch length
- Jaw type (adjustable, pipe or fixed) not specified
- Heavier than typical for its length, which may reduce comfort in extended use
Performance notes
At close to a kilogram for a 10 inch length, this wrench carries more mass than a typical combination wrench of the same size, which generally means more leverage and durability but less comfort during extended one-handed use. The listing does not specify jaw type or whether it is adjustable, so matching it to pipe, hex or lug work means checking the product photos.
