NewAir NBC126HX00 Beverage Refrigerator with LED Lights

Overview

The NewAir NBC126HX00 is a 126-can beverage refrigerator with dual-zone RGB HexaColor lighting controlled by a remote, adjustable shelves and a dual-pane glass door. It is built as a freestanding unit for bedrooms, offices or gaming rooms rather than as a built-in fridge.

The lighting system is the clear differentiator here, with over 50 color combinations split across two independently controlled zones rather than a single strip. Reviewer experience on cooling itself is split: several describe strong, quiet performance over months or years, while others report the unit failing to hold a cold temperature and frosting up. That split suggests unit-to-unit variation matters more than average for this model.

• 126-can capacity with dual-pane glass door
• Two independently controlled RGB lighting zones
• Matte black freestanding design
• Quiet, set-and-forget cooling thermostat

Who it's for

Fits anyone who wants a stylish, lit-up drink fridge for a bedroom, gaming setup or small office and cares as much about the look as raw cooling power. Less suited to buyers who need dependable cold storage above all else, given the number of cooling complaints.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Each of the two lighting zones can be set independently through the remote, covering color, brightness, saturation and effects, so the two halves of the fridge can look different at once. Cooling relies on a quiet compressor with an air-tight door seal and a set-and-forget thermostat.
