Overview
The DEWALT DXV06PL is a corded electric tool running on 120 volts, rated at nearly 25 amps and 5719 watts of motor power. It weighs 15.4 pounds with dimensions of about 28 by 15 by 22.4 inches.
The tall, boxy footprint, about 22 inches high on a 28 by 15 inch base, paired with corded electric power, points to a stationary or wheeled shop tool rather than a handheld one. Running on a standard 120 volt outlet keeps it straightforward to power without a battery to charge or manage separately.
- 120 volt corded electric power
- Nearly 25 amp rated draw
- 15.4 lb weight
- 28 x 15 x 22.4 inches (L x W x H)
Who it's for
Fits shop or garage setups where a corded, higher-draw electric tool with this footprint has a place near an outlet. Less suited to jobs that need battery powered portability away from power.
Pros and cons
- High rated motor power for a corded electric tool
- Corded, tying use to proximity to an outlet
- 15.4 lb weight and 28 by 15 by 22.4 inch footprint limit portability
Performance notes
Running at nearly 25 amps on a 120 volt circuit puts real demand on the outlet it is plugged into, worth checking against the circuit's rated capacity before use, especially if other tools share the same line.
