Overview
Laying flat beneath a grill, this fiberglass mat carries a fireproof coating and closes with a buckle. It is sold as an under grill mat, and that mat is the only included component.
A large, thin fiberglass sheet with a fireproof coating makes sense for anyone who wants a protective layer below a grill. It is light enough to move around easily. Which grills it suits, and its heat rating, are not stated.
Who it's for
A deck, patio or driveway spot where a grill stands is the use the product name points to. Shoppers who need a rated temperature limit or a confirmed fit for a particular grill need more than this listing carries.
Pros and cons
- Large flat size
- Manufacturer warranty included
- Heat rating not stated
- Compatible grills not named
- Buckle purpose unexplained
Performance notes
Coated fiberglass forms a flat barrier under the cooker, and the thin profile means it lies close to the ground. How much heat or grease it can take is not stated, so treat that limit as unknown.
