Overview
ELECOM pairs a compact two-panel solar charger with a rugged power bank in this NESTOUT kit. High efficiency cells feed the USB ports, an LED checker shows live output, and the battery charges phones and earbuds over USB-C PD.
Rugged, submersible battery and efficient cells suit hiking and camping where outlets are scarce. Without a listed wattage, solar charging speed is hard to plan around.
Who it's for
Weekend campers and day hikers get backup power and sun charging in a small package. Overlanders running laptops need larger panels and batteries.
Pros and cons
- Efficient SunPower cells
- Waterproof, dustproof battery
- USB-C PD output
- Live output checker
- Panel wattage not listed
- Panel weather protection not stated
- Smaller battery in this kit
Performance notes
Output depends on sun angle and cloud, which is why the stands and LED checker help aim the panels. The battery stores energy for night use, while PD speeds phone charging. Weatherproofing covers the battery, not necessarily the panels.
