Overview
MB Herbals sells this coconut shell activated charcoal as a 1 lb (16 oz) powder labeled for external use only, meant for face masks, soap making, and tooth powder rather than swallowing.
Unlike the charcoal capsules elsewhere in this category that are meant for digestive use, this powder is explicitly marked external use only. That puts it with skincare and DIY projects rather than oral supplementation. Coming from coconut shell rather than another carbon source is the main thing buyers usually look for in charcoal cosmetics.
- 1 lb / 16 oz activated coconut shell charcoal powder
- For external use only
- Suited to face masks, soap making, tooth powder
- Cleansing benefit listed
Who it's for
Fits soap makers, DIY skincare mixers, and anyone making homemade charcoal tooth powder who wants a bulk 16 oz supply. Not a fit for anyone shopping this category expecting a swallowable charcoal supplement, since the label rules that out.
Pros and cons
- 16 oz bulk size covers many batches of soap or masks
- Coconut shell source
- Fine powder mixes easily into DIY formulas
- Labeled external use only, not a substitute for charcoal capsules
- No particle size or mesh count given
Performance notes
As a fine loose powder, it mixes into clay masks, soap bases, and tooth powder blends without further grinding; how it performs depends on the recipe it goes into rather than the charcoal alone.
