Overview
Corn and peas form the base of VETRESKA Tofu Cat Litter, a plant-based clumping litter sold in two 5.5 lb bags with a green tea scent.
Tofu-style litters are designed to be flushable and to clump for scooping, unlike a silica crystal litter, and this one is marketed as dust-free and low-tracking. The plant-based material appeals to owners moving away from clay or silica for environmental reasons. Two separate bags in the pack make storage and splitting between litter boxes easier than one large bag.
- Corn and pea based tofu litter
- Two 5.5 lb bags
- Dust-free, low tracking
- Green tea scent
Who it's for
Fits owners who want a flushable, plant-based litter with strong clumping and low dust. Not for owners who prefer unscented litter, since this one carries a green tea fragrance, or for households on plumbing systems that restrict flushing.
Pros and cons
- Flushable, plant-based clumping litter
- Dust-free and low tracking
- Two 5.5 lb bags per pack
- Scented with green tea, not unscented
- Flushing suitability varies by plumbing system
Performance notes
The corn and pea base clumps around moisture for scooping, similar to clay, while being lighter and marketed as lower dust and lower tracking through the house. Flushability depends on local plumbing and septic guidelines, so it is worth checking before relying on that disposal method regularly.
