Overview
The G LAXIA GA97630 is a battery powered saw on a 20 volt platform, spinning up to 3400 RPM. It weighs 4.6 pounds and measures 6 by 8 by 14 inches, with a cutting capacity listed at 4.5 inches.
The high speed steel spec likely describes the blade material, which matters for cutting durability against wood or light metal. At 3400 RPM this runs faster than a typical reciprocating saw, closer to the range used for quicker, cleaner cuts.
