Overview
Women golfers who like a fang shaped mallet get the Wilson Bucktown at a women's length with a plumber neck hosel. A midsize no-taper grip limits wrist rotation, and three alignment lines sit on an anti-glare finish.
A fang head with a plumber neck is why to choose it, a shape that frames the ball and suits a slight arc. The listing gives no toe hang or head dimensions, so fitting it to a stroke takes a test roll.
Who it's for
Women who like the alignment frame of a fang head and need a shorter shaft will find a ready fit. Players who want a small, traditional head should choose a blade.
Pros and cons
- Fang mallet frames the ball
- Plumber neck for a familiar look
- No-taper grip calms the wrists
- Milled face for consistent roll
- Toe hang not listed
- Right hand only
- No headcover listed
Performance notes
The fang shape spreads weight back and to the sides for stability, while its prongs help frame the ball at address. A plumber neck sets the shaft slightly ahead of the face. The no-taper grip steadies the hands through impact.
