Overview
Not a slim blade, the women's Wilson Bean is a large mallet that spreads weight wide for stability. A midsize no-taper grip calms the wrists, and three lines on the anti-glare top help aim.
Forgiveness at a women's length is why to buy it, with a big head that resists twisting and a grip that steadies the hands. It ships as the putter alone, with no headcover listed.
Who it's for
Women who struggle with off center strikes or wristy strokes get help from both the head and the grip. Golfers who like a light, small head should choose a blade.
Pros and cons
- Large mallet resists twisting
- No-taper grip steadies the wrists
- Women's length as standard
- Milled face for consistent roll
- Headcover not listed
- Right hand only
- Large head may feel bulky
Performance notes
A large mallet shifts weight to the edges of the head, so mishits lose less speed and direction. The no-taper grip lets both hands work evenly to limit wrist rotation. The milled face aims to hold roll consistent across strikes.
