Overview
Cliganic's 4 oz citronella candles come two to a pack, each rated for about 18 hours of burn time from a soybean and beeswax base scented with rosemary, peppermint, lemongrass and cedarwood oil.
This is the smaller sibling to Cliganic's 9 oz candle, trading burn time, 18 hours instead of 40, for two candles per pack, useful for one at each end of a table or one indoors and one out. Wind is the recurring complaint, since a breeze both blows the flame out and pushes the scent away before it builds a barrier.
- 4 oz candles, two per pack
- About 18 hours of burn time each
- Soybean and beeswax base with essential oils
- Resealable tin, safe around kids and pets
Pros and cons
- Noticeably reduces mosquitoes in still air
- Safe to burn near kids and pets
- Two candles per pack for two spots
- Short effective radius, works best close by
- Burns unevenly and blows out in wind
- Each candle only rated for 18 hours
