Overview
Zebra's card printer is built for printing employee badges, student IDs and visitor passes on site. Drop a ribbon into its slot, load blank cards in the hopper, preview the design on the touch display and print.
Organizations get on demand ID printing with simple ribbon loading and a preview that avoids wasted test cards. The listing conflicts on duplex printing, and ribbons and blank cards are not included.
Who it's for
HR teams, schools and event organizers producing badges regularly will use it. Occasional users may do better ordering printed cards.
Pros and cons
- Card preview on display
- Easy ribbon loading
- Open output stack
- Color card printing
- Ribbons and cards not included
- Duplex details conflict
- Seller listed brand differs from title
Performance notes
Print quality depends on the ribbon and card stock, which transfer color by heat directly onto the card. The preview screen cuts trial prints. Throughput depends on whether one or two sides are printed.
