More from this brandAll Monstrum rifle scopesOverview
A 4x fixed magnification prism rifle scope with an etched BDC reticle and adjustable red or green illumination, built on Monstrum's newer compact prism housing that trims size and weight compared to earlier models.
- 4x fixed magnification prism optic
- Etched glass BDC reticle with red or green illumination
- 27% shorter and 23% lighter than the prior generation
- Half-MOA windage and elevation adjustment
Who it's for
AR-platform shooters who want more reach than a red dot without stepping up to a variable scope, especially those with astigmatism who find dot sights blurry. Less suited to shooters who want adjustable magnification or a premium mount with included lens caps.
Pros and cons
- Etched reticle stays visible without battery power
- Reported to help with astigmatism where red dots blur
- Lifetime warranty from Monstrum
- Heavier and bulkier than smaller prism scopes
- No included lens covers or kill flash
- Adjustment turrets use a tool rather than finger clicks
Performance notes
Eye relief runs around six inches, and windage and elevation adjust in half-MOA clicks using a tool stored in the turret caps.

Frequently asked questions
What is the eye relief on the Cyborg 4x prism scope?
One reviewer measured eye relief at about six inches, which they call more than enough for most rifle setups.
Does the reticle still work if the battery dies?
Yes, the reticle is etched into the glass, so it remains visible even without illumination.
