Overview
Not a case that charges your phone by itself, the Krute carry-on routes power from a power bank you pack through two USB ports on the shell. The ABS and PC body rolls on spinner wheels and closes with a keyless TSA lock.
A ten-year warranty is long for a carry-on, and the USB ports help on long layovers. Weight is not listed, which matters on airlines with strict cabin limits.
Who it's for
Short business trips and weekend flights suit a hard carry-on with charging ports. Travelers who need to know the exact empty weight before buying should look for a fuller listing.
Pros and cons
- Two USB charging ports
- Keyless TSA lock
- Hard ABS and PC shell
- Power bank not included
- Empty weight not listed
- Not water resistant
- Wheel count unclear in the listing
Performance notes
The USB ports work only as a pass-through, so the power bank inside does the charging. A hard ABS and PC shell flexes under knocks rather than cracking. Spinner wheels let it roll upright through terminals.
