Overview
Tossing frozen fries or a big batch of wings into the basket and choosing Max Crisp is how most people will use it. Superheated air circulates at high heat, and the basket and plate go in the dishwasher.
High heat and a big basket cook family portions straight from frozen. A single basket means sides and mains cook in turns, and it takes a fair bit of counter depth.
Who it's for
Households of three or more cooking game day snacks and weeknight dinners. Singles with little counter space may prefer a smaller fryer.
Pros and cons
- Big basket for family portions
- High heat Max Crisp mode
- Dishwasher safe basket and plate
- Cookbook and charts included
- Single basket only
- Deep countertop footprint
- No window to check food
Performance notes
Crispness comes from fast moving hot air; spreading food in a single layer and shaking midway improves browning. Max Crisp runs hotter for frozen foods.
