Overview
The FLEX FX4111-Z is a router weighing 3.86 pounds, light enough for one-handed guidance across a workpiece compared with larger fixed-base routers.
FLEX lists this under Tools > Routers, and the 3.86 pound weight suggests a compact, likely trim or palm-style unit rather than a full size plunge router. Motor power, bit collet size and base type are not listed, so matching it to a specific routing job depends on specs this listing does not provide.
- 3.86 pound item weight
- Listed under Tools > Routers
- Sold under the FLEX brand
- Model FX4111-Z
Who it's for
Suits users wanting a lighter router for edge work, trimming or detail cuts where a heavy fixed-base unit would be harder to control. Not confirmed as a match for heavy stock removal jobs since motor power is not listed.
Pros and cons
- Light 3.86 pound body for one-handed control
- Suits edge and trim style cuts
- Motor power not listed
- Collet size and base type not specified
Performance notes
Weight alone points to a compact router body, easier to guide by hand for edges and trim cuts than a heavier fixed-base machine. Motor power, collet size and base style are not part of this listing, so how it handles denser stock or larger bits is not something the data confirms.
