Overview
A non-stick electric pan with its own heater is the core of the DEZIN mini hot pot, letting noodles, soup, eggs and steak cook without a stovetop. The included lid covers it for simmering soup or oatmeal.
For a dorm room, hotel stay or campsite with power, one pot that boils ramen and also fries an egg covers most small meals. Its capacity suits one person rather than a family, and the listing says little about heat settings or voltage.
Who it's for
Small rooms without a stove, such as dorms, RVs and hotel stays, are where a mini electric pot earns its place. Cooks who batch meals for a household should look at a larger pot.
Pros and cons
- Non-stick pan suits eggs and steak
- Lid included for soups and oatmeal
- Compact enough for dorms and RVs
- Cooks ramen, soup, oatmeal and steak
- Voltage not listed, check before travel
- Steamer not part of this version
- Small capacity limits batch cooking
Performance notes
Cooking speed depends on the heater output relative to the small pan volume, so ramen water and oatmeal come up to temperature faster than in a large pot. The non-stick coating governs release for eggs and steak, and the lid traps steam to shorten simmering.
