Overview
An isolated MM/MC phono board shields turntable signal from interference while a dedicated amplifier design drives a pair of speakers. It pairs with Roon, Tidal and Deezer over Wi-Fi, and an HDMI ARC connection lets it carry television audio through the same amplifier.
Concentrating power into two channels instead of spreading it across a full surround array lets the amplifier section run cleaner for music and vinyl playback. It leans toward stereo listening and streaming rather than a multi-speaker theater layout, so anyone planning a full surround system needs a different receiver.
Who it's for
A music listener or turntable owner who wants a focused two-channel setup with streaming service support gets the most from this receiver. Someone planning a multi-speaker home theater system needs a different, channel-heavier receiver instead.
Pros and cons
- Isolated phono board reduces turntable signal distortion
- Works with Roon, Tidal and Deezer streaming
- Gold-plated terminals and audio-grade capacitors included
- HDMI ARC carries TV audio through one connection
- Only two channels, no surround speaker support
- No stated total unit dimensions
Performance notes
Two dedicated amplifier channels receive more of the available current than a comparable multi-channel design would split, which supports cleaner output at higher volume. The discrete op amp circuitry on the phono stage isolates delicate turntable signal from the rest of the circuit before amplification. Streaming runs through Wi-Fi to Roon, Tidal and Deezer independent of the phono and analog inputs.
