Overview
Porcelain-enameled cast iron soaks up grill heat and spreads it evenly, which is how this Weber wok handles fast stir-fries. A steaming basket turns it into a steamer, and it drops into the Weber Crafted frame on compatible grills.
Cooking in the wok over the grill moves heat and smoke outdoors. Fit is the limit for many owners, since some grills need a frame kit and Crafted grates first.
Who it's for
Owners of compatible Genesis, Spirit or SmokeFire grills who want wok cooking outside. Other grill owners cannot use it as designed.
Pros and cons
- Even heat from cast iron
- Works as wok or steamer
- Steamer basket included
- Fits Weber Crafted setups only
- Frame kit may be extra
- Heavy to handle
Performance notes
Cast iron holds heat and recovers quickly when food is added, which governs searing in a stir-fry. The enamel coating limits sticking and rust, while steaming relies on the basket sitting above simmering water.
