Overview
A big family room with sofas spread across it is where the Sony BRAVIA flagship Mini LED earns its keep, holding color and brightness from side seats. Anti-reflection treatment tames glare from windows and lamps.
Brightness, wide-angle color and glare control make it a strong main TV for bright, busy rooms. The trade in weight and footprint means checking furniture and wall strength before buying.
Who it's for
Large households, sports gatherings and daytime viewing get the most from the wide-angle and anti-glare layers. People wanting a compact or lightweight TV should look at smaller models.
Pros and cons
- Very bright Mini LED panel
- Holds color off-angle
- Strong built-in sound
- More bundled movie credits
- Heavy to mount
- Very wide base
- High power use
Performance notes
Full array local dimming lights only the zones that need it, which holds blacks deep beside bright highlights. X-Wide Angle preserves color for off-center seats, while X-Anti Reflection cuts glare in daylight.
