Overview
A ReadyFlex battery compartment lets each of these plastic LED lanterns run on either two or four AA batteries. The set stands on a tabletop and comes with alkaline batteries already packed.
Batteries included and a long run time make these ready for a tent or a power cut straight from the box. The water resistance claim conflicts across the listing, so avoid exposing them to rain.
Who it's for
Campers and storm-prepared homes that want simple battery lanterns in a pair. Anyone who needs a guaranteed waterproof or rechargeable lantern should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Long run time rating
- Two lanterns in the pack
- Flexible two or four battery use
- Water resistance listed two ways
- No warranty applicable
- Runtime depends on the brightness setting
Performance notes
Using four batteries instead of two changes the run time and, on most lanterns, the brightness level, so the headline hours apply to specific settings. Alkaline cells lose capacity in cold weather, which shortens run time at a campsite.
