Overview
The KoolMore KM-DW2445-PR is a 24 inch panel ready built-in dishwasher with 14 place settings, a 45 dB sound rating and UL and Energy Star certification, built to accept a custom cabinet panel rather than ship with a finished stainless front.
Because this is panel ready, the stainless finish in the listing is the interior and side finish, not necessarily what shows once installed. A cabinet panel is not included, so plan for that extra cost and cutting if you want the unit to disappear into cabinetry.
- 14 place settings
- 45 dB quiet rating
- Panel ready stainless steel front
- UL and Energy Star certified
Who it's for
Fits someone finishing a small kitchen, cottage, rental or tight space who wants a dishwasher hidden behind cabinetry and is comfortable handling install details themselves. Less suited to anyone who wants a finished stainless front straight out of the box.
Pros and cons
- Quiet running per multiple owners
- Fits standard 18 inch cabinet openings
- Heating element helps dishes dry without spotting
- Adjustable racks fit taller items
- No cabinet panel included, and none sold by the manufacturer per one reviewer
- One report of the upper rack and door assembly failing after light use
- Panel installation instructions described as minimal
Performance notes
Owners across small kitchens, cottages and even a flood-replacement conversion describe quiet running and thorough cleaning, including one general contractor comparing it favorably to established brands. A heating element is called out for drying dishes without water spots, and the racks adjust to fit taller items like a blender jar.
