Overview
The HiramWare KSS41024 is a single chisel measuring about 7 by 2.3 by 1.1 inches and weighing 1.43 pounds. Its size places it among compact hand chisels rather than long bar type tools.
At just over 7 inches long, this reads as a hand held chisel sized for detail or general shop work rather than heavy demolition. The listed weight of 1.43 pounds gives some striking mass without being fatiguing over a session. No blade material or edge type is given, so buyers focused on a specific steel grade should confirm separately.
- Model KSS41024
- Dimensions about 7 x 2.3 x 1.1 inches
- Weight 1.43 pounds
- Sold as a single chisel
Who it's for
Fits woodworkers or general repair users who need a single compact chisel on hand. Not the choice for someone who needs a full graduated chisel set or a heavy masonry demolition tool.
Pros and cons
- Compact 7 inch size for one hand control
- 1.43 pound weight adds some striking mass
- Single piece only, not a graduated set
- Blade material and edge type not specified
Performance notes
A chisel this size and weight sits in hand comfortably for controlled paring cuts while still carrying enough mass to take light mallet strikes. Because only one piece is included, it covers a single edge width rather than the range a boxed set would provide.
