Overview
Plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet, the Dong DSA02-125 spins up to 12,800 RPM in a compact body built for detail and edge work rather than large flat panels.
Its 3.17 amp motor sits on the lighter end for a corded sander, which likely keeps the tool cooler running during shorter sessions but caps how much stock it can remove per pass compared with a heavier duty machine.
- 120V corded electric power
- 12,800 RPM sanding speed
- 3.3 lb tool weight
- Compact 5 inch footprint
Who it's for
Suited to DIYers handling small refinishing jobs, trim or furniture touch ups where a compact tool matters more than covering large surfaces quickly.
Pros and cons
- Compact 3.3 lb body for one-handed use
- Corded power avoids battery runtime limits
- 12,800 RPM for fast surface prep
- Modest 3.17 amp motor limits stock removal
- Small footprint slows large surface work
Performance notes
At 3.17 amps and up to 12,800 RPM, the motor favors speed over torque, which suits light to medium sanding rather than aggressive stock removal. Its compact roughly 5 by 5 by 5.4 inch footprint and 3.3 pound weight point to a tool built for one-handed detail work and edges rather than broad flat panels.
