Overview
The NEU NTC0023-18 is a cordless nailer built around a 20 volt battery pack, weighing in at 7.65 pounds, on the heavy side for a handheld nailer. It suits buyers assembling a cordless tool lineup who want another driver added to it.
Amazon does not list a nail gauge or magazine capacity for this model, so treat it as a general fastening tool rather than a confirmed match for a specific job like trim or framing until those details are checked. The battery-plus-AC-charging setup places it in the same ecosystem class as most current cordless nailers, useful if you already run 20 volt tools from the same platform.
- 20 volt cordless power source
- 7.65 pound tool weight
- AC charger included with battery
Who it's for
Suits someone building a 20 volt cordless tool kit who wants a nailer without needing gauge specifics upfront, and who is comfortable confirming nail compatibility separately. Not for anyone who needs a specific gauge or magazine size settled before buying.
Pros and cons
- Runs on a common 20 volt cordless platform
- Comes with AC charging included
- Nail gauge and magazine size are not listed
- 7.65 pounds is heavier than compact nailers
- No description text to confirm job-specific fit
Performance notes
At 7.65 pounds this carries more heft than compact trim nailers, which can steady the tool during use but adds fatigue over a long session held overhead. Running from a 20 volt pack means output depends on charge state rather than constant line power, and the included AC charging path lets you top up without buying a separate charger.
