Overview
Netvue builds the Peekababy as a video monitor with both a handheld screen and a phone app, so parents can watch from the house or away. A four way bracket mounts it on a wall, clips it to a crib, stands it on a desk or wraps it around a rail.
Flexible mounting and app sharing make it easy to fit almost any crib and let grandparents watch too. The listing never mentions night vision or viewing angle, both key for nighttime checks.
Who it's for
Homes with an odd crib shape, or relatives who want to watch live, get the most from the bracket and sharing. Parents who mainly check a pitch dark room should confirm night vision first.
Pros and cons
- Dedicated screen plus phone app
- Bracket fits round and square cribs
- Cry detection and feeding reminders
- Sleep and room temperature tracking
- Night vision not listed
- Alert type in specs says motion only
- Needs Wi-Fi for the app
Performance notes
Picture reliability depends on the Wi-Fi link to the app and the radio link to the display pad, which reconnects on its own after a drop. Mount placement through the bracket decides how much of the crib stays in frame, since the viewing angle is not stated.
