Overview
A queen bed that sleeps warm or feels too firm gets a softer top layer with this Saatva topper. Graphite-infused memory foam contours to the body and draws heat away, and an organic cotton cover pulls on over the mattress.
Side sleepers get the most from it, since the soft foam lets shoulders and hips sink in while graphite pulls heat out of the surface. The organic cotton cover and certified foam add peace of mind. Care is the weak point, with hand washing only and no water resistance.
Who it's for
Couples on an aging or overly firm queen mattress, especially side sleepers, will notice the added cushion and quieter motion. Shoppers who need a waterproof or machine washable layer should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Graphite infusion draws heat from the body
- Soft foam eases pressure for side sleepers
- Reduces motion transfer between partners
- Organic cotton cover
- Hand wash only care
- Not water resistant
- Single soft firmness level
- Topper weight not listed
Performance notes
Memory foam softens under body heat and pressure, so it fills the gaps around shoulders and hips instead of pushing back. Graphite in the foam is meant to carry heat away from the contact surface, which matters because dense foam otherwise traps warmth. The same slow-responding foam absorbs a partner's movement before it reaches the other side.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Saatva graphite topper waterproof?
No. The listing rates it not water resistant, so use a separate waterproof mattress protector if spills or accidents are a concern.
Will the Saatva topper fit a deep queen mattress?
The listing confirms queen size with a pull-on closure but gives no pocket depth or overall dimensions, so measure your mattress and check with Saatva.
Does the Saatva memory foam topper reduce motion transfer?
Yes, the memory foam is described as reducing motion transfer, so a partner's movement is less noticeable across the bed.
