Overview
The Hikeen KF00278ZHA is a plastic rod rack in black and orange, weighing 0.68 kilograms and sold as a single unit for holding fishing rods in storage.
Rod racks like this one are meant for storage rather than active fishing, keeping multiple rods upright and organized in a garage, shed or boat. The plastic build keeps the piece light at under 1.5 pounds, though the data does not specify how many rod slots it holds.
- Black and orange color scheme
- 0.68 kilogram weight
- Plastic construction
- Sold as one unit
Who it's for
Anglers with several rods who need a dedicated place to store them off the floor or leaning against a wall. Less useful for someone who owns just one or two rods and has no organization problem to solve.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight plastic build
- Rust resistant compared to metal
- Compact single unit design
- Slot capacity not specified in the listing
- Plastic may have lower load limits than metal racks
Performance notes
Plastic construction keeps the rack light and resistant to rust compared to metal racks, which matters in damp garages or near saltwater gear. The tradeoff is generally lower load capacity than a metal frame, so larger rod collections should check capacity before buying.
