Overview
The MEELUS ML-WMPT-WH04 stretches over queen mattresses from 8 to 21 inches deep, using a waterproof TPU backing under an OEKO-TEX certified fabric face.
Waterproof protectors have historically traded dryness for a crinkly plastic feel; this one pairs the TPU backing with a certified face fabric aimed at staying quiet and breathable instead of stiff.
- Queen size protector
- 8 to 21 inch deep pocket fit
- TPU waterproof backing
- Diamond-quilted surface
Who it's for
Suits anyone protecting a queen mattress from kids, pets or spills who wants that protection to stay unnoticeable under a sheet. Not a fit for mattresses shallower than 8 inches or deeper than 21, since the pocket skirt is built to that range.
Pros and cons
- TPU backing blocks liquid from the mattress
- Fits mattress depths from 8 to 21 inches
- OEKO-TEX certified breathable face fabric
- Machine washable and quick drying
- Diamond quilting adds texture under sheets
Performance notes
The TPU layer on the underside is what blocks liquid from reaching the mattress, while the OEKO-TEX certified fabric on top is built to stay breathable rather than trap heat like older vinyl-backed protectors. The stretch pocket skirt with reinforced elastic is sized to grip mattresses from 8 to 21 inches deep.
