JDHGSHL Rigid Pipe Strap 2 Hole U Bracket 2"

Overview

This is a rigid U shaped pipe strap sized for 2 inch pipe, built with two mounting holes and described as reinforced. At 0.12 kilograms, about 4.2 ounces, each, it is a light, simple bracket meant to anchor pipe runs to a wall, joist or frame.

Pipe straps like this one do a single job, holding a fixed diameter pipe against a solid surface with a couple of screws through the mounting holes. The reinforced claim in the title is not backed by a material spec here, so it likely refers to a thicker gauge of metal rather than any tested strength rating.

• Fits 2 inch diameter pipe
• U bracket style with 2 mounting holes
• Weighs 0.12 kg, about 4.2 oz, each

Who it's for

Useful for anyone running or securing 2 inch diameter pipe, whether plumbing, conduit or similar, who needs a basic U bracket rather than an adjustable clamp. Not the right pick if your pipe is a different diameter, since this strap is sized specifically for 2 inches.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

As a rigid U bracket rather than an adjustable clamp, this strap holds one fixed pipe diameter tightly against a surface once screwed down. The 0.12 kilogram weight points to a lightweight gauge of metal, consistent with typical pipe strap hardware, but the listing does not name the exact material.
