Overview
Mounting with either a windshield suction mount or a sticky mount, this dual dash cam pairs a front camera with a rear one on an extension cable. Footage shows on a small IPS screen and moves to a phone over Wi-Fi.
Fast transfer and a large card ceiling suit drivers who offload footage often. GPS adds speed and location tagging, and over-the-air updates are listed. The headline resolution needs care, because the front sensor records at a lower native setting and the higher one is upscaled.
Who it's for
Owners of cars, SUVs, trucks, minivans and buses who want rear coverage plus quick phone transfers will use the app and the extension cable. Anyone after native top-resolution video, or a screenless unit, should compare other models.
Pros and cons
- Fast Wi-Fi transfer
- Built-in GPS with live speed
- Over-the-air firmware updates
- Large memory card support
- Top resolution is upscaled
- Rear resolution is lower than front
- No cabin camera listed
Performance notes
Image detail comes from the native sensor resolution and the wide aperture, so upscaling adds pixels without adding detail. The supercapacitor is listed for heat and cold tolerance and a longer life. Transfer speed depends on the Wi-Fi link to the phone.
