Our verdict

A licensed Hello Kitty steering wheel cover that slips on without tools for fans who want a cute cabin. Check your wheel size first, since larger truck wheels will not fit.

Overview

A daily commute car gets a pink Hello Kitty touch with this licensed Sanrio steering wheel cover. It stretches over standard wheels, adding a soft faux leather grip and protection from wear and sun.

Licensed character design plus a softer grip makes it a fun gift for fans. Fit is limited to the stated wheel size range.

Who it's for

Fans dressing up their car or buying a gift for one will enjoy it. Drivers with thick or very large wheels should measure first.

Pros and cons

Pros

Officially licensed design
No tools, stretch fit
Covers wheel from wear

Cons

Fits a narrow wheel size range
Thickness not listed
Pink design not for every cabin

Performance notes

Grip depends on a snug stretch over the wheel, so wheels at the small end of the range hold it tighter. The textured faux leather adds friction for the hands. A loose fit on undersized wheels can let it rotate.
