Dovesun Catfish Float Rig with Rattles

Overview

Dovesun's catfish float rigs come six to a pack, built around high carbon steel components with a rattle and a 6/0 circle hook. They're made specifically for catfish rather than general-purpose panfish rigging.

The rattle is the notable addition here, meant to draw catfish in by sound in addition to scent, a common tactic in still or murky water where visibility is limited. The circle hook design also supports catch and release since it tends to hook fish in the corner of the mouth rather than deeper.

• High carbon steel construction
• 6/0 circle hooks
• Rattle for sound attraction
• 6 rigs per pack

Who it's for

Catfish anglers fishing bait rigs in lakes, rivers, or ponds who want a pre-rigged float and hook setup rather than tying their own. Not built for other species or techniques outside catfish bait rigs.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The rattle adds an attraction element beyond scent alone, useful in low-visibility water where catfish rely more on sound and smell to locate bait. High carbon steel components add strength for handling larger catfish, and the 6/0 circle hook size targets medium to larger fish specifically.
