Overview
Coleman built the Skydome with pre-attached poles and nearly vertical walls, then added a weatherproof screen room up front. The porch works as a bug-free lounge, gear space or a spot for two more sleepers.
Families get quick setup, standing room and a screened porch in one shelter. The porch adds length, so smaller campsites may be a squeeze.
Who it's for
Weekend campgrounds and family trips with bugs around suit this tent. Small tent pads may not fit the full footprint.
Pros and cons
- Screened porch adds flexible space
- Pre-attached poles speed setup
- Nearly vertical walls for headroom
- Color-coded corner aids fly setup
- Three-season use only
- Long footprint needs room
- Pole material varies by listing
Performance notes
Setup speed comes from the pre-attached poles, and the color-coded corner orients the rainfly quickly. The tub floor, welded corners and taped seams decide how dry the inside stays in a storm.
