Overview
A set of 6 stemmed plastic wine glasses from Hlukana at 16 oz each, model LLIOPU, built as a shatter-resistant alternative to glass stemware for outdoor and travel use.
The pitch here is durability over delicacy: these look like traditional stemmed wine glasses but are BPA-free plastic, so they survive being dropped where actual glass would not. That trade-off is aimed squarely at settings where breakage is a real risk, poolside, camping, patios, rather than a formal dinner table.
- 16 oz stemmed plastic wine glasses
- Set of 6, BPA-free
- Drop resistant construction
- Dishwasher safe, top rack
Who it's for
Suits anyone who wants stemmed wine glasses for outdoor entertaining, camping, boating or poolside use where real glass is impractical, and who is fine trading true glass clarity for drop resistance. Buyers wanting the exact feel and clarity of genuine glass stemware should stick with glass.
Pros and cons
- Shatter-resistant, unlike real glass stemware
- Dishwasher safe on the top rack
- BPA-free plastic construction
- Set of 6 covers a full table
- Plastic will not match real glass clarity or weight
- Not a fit for a formal table setting
Performance notes
The plastic construction is built to withstand drops without splitting or breaking, and Hlukana notes the glasses are safe on the top rack of a dishwasher rather than requiring hand washing. Each glass holds 16 oz, and the set of 6 gives enough for a full table without matching pieces individually.
