Overview
A nailer from KEENTECH, model KT-P625B, weighing 2.4 pounds and listed as not battery powered. That combination of light weight and no battery points to a pneumatic tool that runs on an air compressor rather than a cordless or corded electric nailer.
At 2.4 pounds this is light for a nailer, which usually makes for easier one-handed use on trim, molding, or upholstery work depending on the fastener size it is built for. Since no battery is involved, an air compressor and hose are needed to operate it, which is worth factoring into setup cost if you do not already own one.
- 2.4 pounds
- No battery required
- Pneumatic operation implied by specs
- Model KT-P625B
Who it's for
Suits users who already have an air compressor and want a lightweight pneumatic nailer for finish work or repetitive fastening tasks. Not a fit for anyone wanting a battery-only cordless option, since this tool still needs a compressed air source.
Pros and cons
- Light 2.4 pound body eases extended use
- Pneumatic design avoids battery charging and replacement
- Requires a separate air compressor and hose to operate
- No published fastener size or nail gauge range
Performance notes
The absence of a battery means this nailer relies on compressed air for its driving force, which typically gives consistent power output as long as the compressor keeps pace, unlike battery nailers that can lose power as the charge drains. The 2.4 pound body should reduce arm fatigue during extended use compared to heavier nailers.
