Overview
ScorpionEXO builds the Covert FX around a carbon fiber shell with street fighter styling and a large top intake vent. A ratchet pulls the fog free shield tight to the eye port, and pockets in the liner take Bluetooth speakers.
Riders get a light carbon shell, a second dark shield in the box and pads that fit around glasses. There is no drop down sun visor, and Pinlock shields are sold separately.
Who it's for
Sport and naked bike riders who wear glasses and want comms ready pockets will be comfortable. Riders who switch light conditions often may prefer an internal sun visor.
Pros and cons
- Carbon fiber shell
- Second dark smoke shield included
- Glasses friendly cheek pads
- Tool-less shield removal
- No internal sun visor
- Pinlock shields sold separately
- Alternate cheek pads sold separately
Performance notes
Weight and stiffness come from the carbon shell, with multi layer foam absorbing impact energy. Fog control relies on the coated shield and the two position mouth vent acting as a defroster. Fit is tuned by shell size and optional cheek pad thicknesses.
