Overview
Not a plush, this Plasma Blast Toothless is a plastic Night Fury figure with real feel wings that open from a dive position into a wide glide. A button on his back charges the blast, and a second press fires a blue plasma light with chomping sounds.
Movie styling and a big wingspan make it a centerpiece for How to Train Your Dragon fans. It takes up a lot of shelf space, and it does not fly, it only poses and lights up.
Who it's for
Kids reenacting dragon scenes on the floor, and fans who want a showpiece, fit here. Families short on toy storage should note the large wingspan.
Pros and cons
- Large movie styled wingspan
- Light and sound blast feature
- Wings move dive to glide
- Real feel wing texture
- Takes up lots of space
- No flight, poses only
- Viking riders sold separately
Performance notes
Pressing the back button once charges the blast and a second press releases the light and chomp, a two step routine kids repeat in play. The wings move between dive and glide positions instead of flapping.
