Overview
Parents of twins, or anyone who cuddles a toddler at bedtime, get a nursery glider with a seat wide enough for two. It swivels and glides on a metal base, with a pillow back, a lumbar pillow and stain-resistant fabric.
A chair and a half width turns night feeds and story time into something comfortable for two. Its size and weight make it a fixture rather than a chair you move around.
Who it's for
Families furnishing a nursery get certified low-emission materials and a fabric that shrugs off spills. People with tight floor space should look at a standard width glider.
Pros and cons
- Extra wide seat
- Swivels and glides
- Water repellent fabric
- Recycled yarn content
- Wipe clean only
Performance notes
A metal swivel glider base lets the seat rock and turn, which is what soothes a baby while a parent reaches for things. The foam seat and pillow back set comfort over long sessions. Fabric treated to repel water lets spills be wiped before they soak in.
