Overview
Pristis RBW I hooks are round bend hooks made from high carbon steel, sized 3/0 and sold 25 to a pack, weighing about 0.03 kilograms per hook.
A round bend shape is a general purpose hook profile that works across a range of bait and rigging styles, which is likely why the size and category here skew toward versatility rather than a single specialized technique. High carbon steel is a common choice for hook strength and hold under stress.
- 3/0 hook size
- 25 count pack
- High carbon steel material
- Round bend profile
Who it's for
Anglers who want a general purpose hook in a mid range 3/0 size for bait fishing. Not a fit for anyone needing a specialized hook shape like circle or treble for a specific technique.
Pros and cons
- 25 hooks per pack
- High carbon steel for strength
- General purpose round bend shape
- Not a specialized shape for techniques like circle hook catch and release
- Coating or corrosion resistance not specified
Performance notes
High carbon steel gives the hook stiffness to resist bending under a fighting fish while still allowing the point to be sharpened. The round bend shape is a middle ground profile, not tuned for any single technique but workable across live bait, cut bait or soft plastics.
